MiColEC is an advanced R&D project focused on redefining micro-logistics through collaborative, transparent, and digitally orchestrated operations. Developed by Logimade Innovation in partnership with Universidade da Madeira and ARDITI, the project leverages blockchain technology and intelligent route management to create more efficient, scalable, and sustainable logistics ecosystems. As demand grows and cities become more complex, logistics networks must adapt. MiColEC provides a future-ready platform capable of supporting micro-hubs, multi-stakeholder coordination, real-time authentication, and transparent operational oversight.

MiColEC connects logistics operators through a collaborative micro-hub framework supported by blockchain authentication. Operators register deliveries, share routing data, and coordinate drop-offs and pick-ups through a centralized interface. Smart contracts automate validation and operational agreements, ensuring that each action is transparent and secure.

Intelligent route algorithms distribute vehicles efficiently, minimizing redundant travel and maximizing capacity usage. As deliveries move through the network, every event is recorded immutably, allowing all stakeholders to verify activity without compromising privacy or control.
